Group guided self practice
This class runs on a bookings only basis. Group guided self practice is essentially a private lesson in a group. You can start and finish at a time that works for you during the self practice timeslot (40 minutes minimum session time). This class requires a commitment and provides a greater challenge than the led classes while being suitable for newer through to experienced practitioners. Each student is taught a sequence, or sequences in the vinyasa krama method which they memorise and then practice to the rhythm of their own breath. The teacher provides expert support, adjustments and guidance tailored to the student’s needs and circumstances. This style of class enables the student to bring the focus and awareness inwards without always looking externally to the teacher. It builds resilience, independence and a greater depth of awareness in your yoga practice. Each student advances at their own pace and is given additional postures and modifications as necessary. More advanced postures may be taught in this class. Guided self practice classes support development of a daily home practice. Commitment to a month of self practice classes or to a self practice course is required for new attendees. To observe a class, please Email Me.
